Chinese Association for Liberal Education 2016 Annual Conference  and 5th Senior Forum on Liberal Education will be held on 21-23 April 2016 at Xi'an Jiaotong University in Xi’an, the capital of Shaanxi province, China.

The theme of this conference is Liberal Education and Cultivation of Innovative Talents, a core issue of Chinese Higher Education. With an estimated attendance of at least 500 persons, scholars, experts and administrators from a large number of higher education institutes will participate in the conference. Various academic activities will be organized including plenary sessions, round-table conferences, interactive workshops and oral presentations. This annual conference is sponsored by CALE (Chinese Association for Liberal Education), a subsidiary of CAHE (China Association of Higher Education), and this time organized by Xi'an Jiaotong University.
